WEBDEV sites can work with information held in databases. HFSQL is integrated into the WINDEV, WEBDEV and WINDEV Mobile environments, and the suite also supports access to external databases through the methods documented by PC SOFT.

PC SOFT documents WEBDEV 2026 as the environment used to develop and test WEBDEV sites or applications. The WEBDEV Application Server is the runtime component used on the server for deployed WEBDEV sites and for Web services developed with WINDEV or WEBDEV.

WEBDEV also includes PHP generation. The appropriate deployment route depends on how the project is generated and hosted.
